Passionate For Pups

Back at boarding! Kennels are open and quite full for the summer! Can’t wait to meet new pups and see all my favorites! First boarders are Libby and her new sister Birdie. I also have a foster pup who’ll be headed north with, A Place for Ace, rescue. My heart is full.

One of the sweetest moments to witness. My foster had her pup. Yes, just one. Kalli is the best mom ever. Delivered without any issues. I was just there on standby. Now she’s being the best mom ever. Both will be up for adoption in about 10 weeks. 🥰

Kalli and Kassi have arrived. They were found running the highways in northern Texas. A sweet lady picked them up, tried to find their home and unsuccessfull, had to bring them home. So glad I have the pleasure of fostering these two pups. Kalli is about 2 yrs old, loves the game of fetch, house trained and has some basic obedience. She’s learning to trust and will get lots of socialization during her stay.

Kassi is about 4 months. She seems to be house trained and enjoys toys and chews. She is learning to trust and will also get lots of socialization and some basic training while staying here. They are up for adoption. They have been vaccinated and will be spay in the coming weeks. If you are interested in meeting these girls, just drop me a note. I suggest they go to two separate homes.

A volunteer with a heart of gold stopped on her way home from visiting family in Northern Texas and saved these two pups from getting hit on the side of the road. She tried to find their home before bringing them down here. We are now looking for homes for them. They are a momma and pup which I suggest going to separate homes. They will come stay with me for a few weeks. If you are interested in meeting them and/or helping with their socialization please contact me. They will begin their stay on 2/25 if they haven’t been adopted.

(Mama) and Kassi were found on the side of the highway, starving and cold … they are good pups 🐶 that love to play. Kalli loves being around people but it takes her a bit to warm up. She loves to play and has a lot of energy, she knows a lot of commands and minds real well.🙂 Kassi seems to only know Kalli, but has warmed up to us so much! She’s a very sweet pup! They both are! They are both up to date on vaccines but not yet spayed.

If we want change at one of our local shelters, we have to try. If this pertains to you, please share your experience. Although we all feel for the dogs, if we keep donating and enabling them to continue improper procedures and care, we’re really not helping the pups.
