VFW Post 12205 invites our members, veterans, and community to join us for our next Quarterly Burger Night on Friday, July 17. As part of our ongoing commitment to honoring veterans and educating our community, this quarter's program will focus on the Korean War and the service of all veterans who have served on the Korean Peninsula—from the Korean War era through the present day.
To make this event especially meaningful, Comrade Frank Schaddelee is organizing a veteran Q&A panel and is SEEKING VETERANS WHO SERVED IN KOREA to share their experiences and perspectives. We currently have two confirmed panelists and are looking to expand the panel to five participants.
If you served in Korea and would be willing to participate, or if you know a veteran who may be interested, please contact us or comment on this post if you'd like to participate as a panelist speaker.
Your stories help preserve history, honor service, and provide valuable insight for our community. Thank you for helping VFW Post 12205 make this another memorable and educational event.

From the first musket shots of the Revolutionary War to the highly skilled, multi-domain force of today, America’s Soldiers have answered the call with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. We are especially proud to honor the many Army veterans who have worn the uniform, protected our nation, and continue to serve their communities through organizations like the VFW.
The VFW proudly stands beside our veterans, active-duty service members, and their families as we celebrate 251 years of service, strength, and commitment to our great nation. Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Army!

Join us at the Mamman Family Public Library along with the VFW Auxiliary 12205 for a fun and educational Flag Day Celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00–2:30 PM!
Children ages 5–12 will enjoy:

🇺🇸 Learning about the history and meaning of our American flag
🎨 Patriotic crafts
🤝 Hands-on flag-folding activities
🎉 A special celebration of America's 250th Birthday
This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity for young learners to explore patriotism, citizenship, and community service while having fun and honoring our nation's heritage.
