Congratulations to these Communication students for their poster presentations at today’s Spring Student Showcase! The event continues throughout the day at various locations on campus. Great to see our students’ scholarly and creative works highlighted at this event!

That’s a wrap! Three alumni returned to campus Monday as host and guests on our “Broadcasting Buffalo” TV show, the last episode for the season. Retired sports broadcaster Howard Simon ‘84 hosted the episode about Buffalo’s professional and collegiate sports teams, with guests Chris Swenson ‘86 (Buffalo Bandits announcer) and Nate Geary ‘15 (WGR Radio). All three talked about the importance of their Buffalo State education in helping them launch their careers. The TV show airs Saturdays at 6:30 pm on WNYO-TV. Journalism Professors and and their students collaborate with the on the show’s production.
