Building Blocks Collective

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of supporting the Durham Ave Block Club!!We rolled up our sleeves to refresh and add to the existing 4 flower pots at the corner of Durham and Litchfield Ave, adding a vibrant burst of color to the street.

For us, this is about so much more than just planting flowers. It’s about doing our part to mobilize neighbors, inspire pride, and actively build a better community from within. 🏡✨

It takes a village and sometimes, a little rain! ☔️💚😉

The countdown is on to unite Bills and Sabres fans across WNY for an epic day of giving. We’re sharing the news early because we wanted to make you aware early that we need your support to continue to empower and to continue to make our community a better, more beautiful place… one block at a time. ❤️

We’re looking for an awesome volunteer a few hours a week to assist us with gardening in a refreshened urban garden space.

We tackled weeding, watering, and sweeping yesterday, but we couldn't have done it without our village. Huge shoutout to Lori for the rain barrel and to a norfolk neighbor for picking it up👊🏽, Linda for delivering mulch and dropping serious gardening knowledge, and my grant coach Margaret for being the sounding board when the Norfolk flower pot threw us a curveball. 😤❤️

Setbacks aside, meeting new neighbors and catching up with old friends made it all worth it. Productive is an understatement! 💚✨

He said, “Ma’am, I don’t like public speaking, when i asked him to reshare what he said to me. i Iaughed it off. “Oh, come on now, you’re just pulling my leg!”
