This is one of those rare places that actually does the work. Kids who might not otherwise have access to music get to learn, play, and explore it in a way that’s genuinely welcoming and joyful. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being included, being supported, and getting to experience music as something that belongs to them.

I’m on the board of the Community Music School of Buffalo (and I’m also an alum), and getting to see this place from the inside has meant a lot to me.
