First job. When I was about ten years old I did not get an allowance. If I wanted to buy a coke, I had to go out and earn enough money for that and anything else I wanted. Like two nickel candy bars. Used to go out all day and shine shoes for a dime. There were guys who actually gave me a quarter.
This was my money maker. It is for sale if anyone wants to go into business.
