VIA's very own Ray Zylinski (Project Integration Manager) and Steve Cardarella (Board Member) participated in the Ride for Roswell this weekend!

Equipped with a tandem bicycle supplied by Wheels for Workers, the duo completed the 10 mile course, raising money for Cancer Research at Roswell Park.

Ray is a cancer survivor himself, diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma at a young age. Ray wanted to show his support for a cause close to his heart while also demonstrating how the sport of cycling can be adapted for the Blind and Visually Impaired community.

All smiles at our annual Wellness Challenge celebration! The challenge is designed to help staff be mindful of their physical and mental health, awarding points for activities such as desk exercises and steps, journaling, meditation, drinking water, nutrition, healthy sleep habits, and much more, as well as unique weekly challenges!

Yesterday, VIA's staff came together to close out this year's Wellness Challenge and kick off summer with a picnic and ice cream from Green Acres Ice Cream. It’s one of our favorite traditions and a great way for colleagues from different departments to spend time together and enjoy the weather!
