Wheel hub completely seized in the steering knuckle... I'm losing my mind. 😩🔧
I'm trying to replace the wheel hub on my 2016 Subaru Legacy 3.6L H6, but it's completely fused to the steering knuckle.
So far I've tried:
Soaking it with penetrating oil.
Beating on it with multiple sledgehammers.
Using a slide hammer.
Absolutely nothing has made it budge.
I'm running out of ideas and this thing is driving me crazy. Has anyone dealt with a hub seized this badly on a Subaru? What finally worked for you?

A friend of mine has this 1950s Buick he doesn't want to restore it, doesn't want to sell it. His wife hates this car and I hate him cz can't sell it to me now I can't even visit his home heheh. If I'd get this I'd slap a 2Jz engine there with its gearbox and do beige interior and install a machine gun sound to use it as a horn.

Master L**e Tech here. Everyone keeps telling me a patch has to go on the inside of the tire but that makes absolutely no sense because the air is trying to get OUT, not IN. If you seal it from the outside first, the air can’t escape. My foreman keeps arguing with me because “that’s how it’s taught,” but experience beats textbooks every time. I’m sending this customer out with a proper repair instead of wasting everyone’s time taking the tire apart

Patch this or replace the whole tire? 🤔

Anyone know if they sell a patch for a hole of this size in the tire sidewall? I’m wondering if this is a lost cause or if there’s a proper way to handle it.
