This past weekend, two members of the team spent time in Poughkeepsie, NY as Canisius Athletics representatives at the MAAC SAAC Meeting. Here’s what they had to say about their experience:

“It was a great opportunity to be able to see how different athletic programs function within the MAAC and an awesome learning opportunity of the programs and policies that apply to us as student athletes. Overall it fostered great connections within athletes of different schools/sports and created a "growth mindest" environment.” - Hannah Kenefick ‘25

“The MAAC SAAC meetings were very informative for us as athletes to see the process behind new legislative proposals and initiatives. It was also an excellent opportunity to learn about what other SAAC members do on their campuses to engage their student-athlete population.” - Addie Naylor ‘26
