I know a number of people who will not share their age because of “ageism”. The only way to change this is to claim our age. I am surprised that people say things as “ I don’t want to embarrass you and reveal your age “ . Why would anyone be embarrassed by their age? I often think of those who have not made it to the age I am at now. The phase 55+ can be thrilling , challenging , lovely, confusing ,adventurous and frustrating. But so can every other phase of life :adolescence anyone ? In 2021 I will be offering an online course “ joyful aging “.
