JENSEN – Michael D.
April 1, 1962 – June 25, 2026
Of Kenmore, NY, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2026 at age 64. Michael was born in Albuquerque, NM, and raised in Fredonia, NY. He earned his undergraduate degree at SUNY Fredonia before proudly serving his country in the United States Army in the late 1980s. He later returned to his studies, earning a Master's degree in Geology from the University at Buffalo. Michael dedicated over two decades to education as a science teacher with the Kenmore-Tonawanda School District from 1991 to 2014, shaping the minds of countless students throughout his career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Glen D. Jensen and Martha Jean Jensen. Michael is survived by his sister, Patty Connolly, and her husband Kevin, of Rhode Island; and his nieces and nephew Alyssa (John) Downey, Colleen (Brian) Duff, JP(Rachel) Connolly and Erin (Ellie) Connolly.
Michael will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. No prior visitation. Private interment Forest Hills Cemetery in Fredonia, New York.
