Scored these today for the . Too bad it ain’t Dana 44 but it’ll do for mid off-roading and snow. D30/35 with lockers and chromoly shafts. Ohh 4.10s, sure will feel different from stock 3.07 😂

Quick update, the main part of the frame is welded with the safety caps but I did decide to redo the rear bumper area and frame structure. Better do it now then a year later.

I’ve also started with the body work. As you’ll see here I’ve got a bit of the flooring done, cut out, matched, cleared and setup. Rear floor on the passenger side is welded in where it should be. Then I’ll be doing the structure seam sealer since 75% of it seems to be spot welded and then sealed.

Front of the floor is cut out and so is the torque box, gone. It was a pita to get the torque box out and the floor out. Little more trimming to be done at the front area before holding everything in place and weld.

End result approach after all welded in is seam sealer, inside and outside in specific areas. Paint it with rust preventative paint, couple coats, a top coat and bedliner at the end. It should keep the rust away. I will also spray it yearly with Fluid Film to help the rust preventions.
