📚 From our Gala to their scholars.

At this year's Passport to Possibility Gala, we were proud to spotlight Buffalo Prep — a Western New York institution that has been illuminating brilliance since 1989. Buffalo Prep isn't a school — it's a school of thought. They invite academically ambitious, underrepresented youth to participate in a rigorous pipeline of summer and after-school enrichment programs that begin as early as 5th grade and follow scholars all the way through high school and beyond.

Serving over 800 Western New York students and alumni annually through programs like Middle School Prep, High School Prep, College Prep, and Alumni Prep, Buffalo Prep works to close the access and opportunity gaps that have long impacted students of color in our community — nurturing the dreamer, the leader, the activist, and the scholar in every student they serve.

Trusted Gives was honored to deliver this donation to support their mission of educational equity right here in Buffalo. 💙

We're building something special for East Buffalo, and we can't do it without YOU.💜

On Thursday, July 16, 2026, 150+ volunteers will help bring a free day of food, fun, health resources, and community to MLK Jr. Park — and there's a role for everyone.

🕗 Volunteer slots run between 8:30 AM and 9:30 PM in 2–3 hour increments 🤝 We'll work around YOUR availability 🙌 Whether you've got two hours or the whole day, every hand makes a difference

From setup and the Kids Zone to greeting neighbors and serving meals — come help us make this day unforgettable.
