Summer with Read to Succeed!

As summer approaches, now is a great time to discover and share picture books and read aloud books with young learners to help them explore nature in their own communities and build lifelong environmental stewardship.

Children can continue to learn and build background knowledge through reading or being read to. Pictured is a selection of books which teach children about farming and food systems and nature in the city, country and suburbs. Remember, picture books aren’t just for kids… adults can learn from them too!
