When was I first heard about this opportunity, I was excited but when I began to realize the impact it would have in 2 different but huge ways, I was hooked. Stay tuned for the big announcement tomorrow!

So, when I “hit the wall” and began looking for the next “thing”, I had some “non-negotiables” that were important to me. A hand full of things that I would get to decide moving forward.
First, I had to be 100% able to make all decisions on my own. But I did know how important it was to listen to those who had been where I was, seek their advice and learn from their experience. But I’m talking about the main things - when to work, when to play, when to spend time with my family, when we could go on vacation and so on. I wanted to decide these things for myself. I did not want to have to ask permission from anyone else. Second, not being a regimented kind of person, a flexible schedule was very important as well. Constant routine is not a lot of fun for an “ENFP” (Myer’s Briggs assessment). LOL So, it was important for me to be able to make my own schedule. Additionally, I wanted a potential for uncapped earnings. Although happy with previous earnings, I wanted to know that if I put more in, I would get more out.
What are your “non-negotiables” with your career? I would love to hear some of yours!

So grateful for where I came from in life, work, and business. Mirroring my amazing families work ethic, I began working at 13 years old and all through high school. Because further education wasn’t an option, after high school I began working numerous jobs, from construction, auto detailing, assembly, and factory work. SOOO many jobs! After several years of just working and wondering if this was as good as it was going to get, a good friend of mine Steve Souder urged me to pursue a sales career which was intriguing. At the age of 29 I got my first opportunity in sales when Jim Underwood gave me a shot with THE premier office equipment dealer in Charlotte NC area. ( ). I doubled my income the first year and never looked back! On top of a lucrative job and hilarious work environment the education I received was priceless. In addition to making work fun, Jim as well as Joey Gamble and many others taught me so much about the payoff of hard work, hustle and how to ask good questions in sales. That job was life changing and I am extremely grateful!
Also I owe a huge thank you to my big brother Tim W. Davis for his belief in me to always be my best! “Can’t means won’t”. I will never forget that!
Moving forward, I wanted more control of my life and frankly I just wasn’t a good employee. I needed to have “my own thing.” Deep down I wanted an opportunity that would allow me to do whatever I wanted…whenever I wanted… at any time that I wanted to do it. But did such a possibility even exist for someone like me?? My limiting belief told me “nope” but later I would learn that the biggest thing standing in my way was in fact, myself.
Fast forward quite a bit……
1 year ago, my family and I made a huge decision to move across country to the Phoenix Arizona area. A part of the country that has always had my heart.
As an employee, I would not have been able to make such a move on my terms. Best part for me was that I didn’t have to ask permission from anyone.
This was the large measure of freedom that I had always wanted. Now I am in control!
