Denise Fries, along with her friends and family, had a wonderful time at Drive with OnRamp, their annual event to raise awareness and earn funds for their meaningful cause. Fries Financial Services was honored to be a sponsor, matching funds raised during the event up to $4,000 in celebration of our 40th Anniversary in business.

OnRamp works with advocates from local charitable, government, and religious organizations to identify people in need who are already taking significant steps towards self-sufficiency, but who need a vehicle to continue that journey. OnRamp finds reliable vehicles through purchase or donation and gifts these to our clients so they can get back on the road. They service donated vehicles free of charge for the first year. During that time they connect our clients with a wealth of resources available through partnering organizations. They also help when a client’s transportation needs are best served in alternative ways, such as repairing a broken car or donating Uber cards.

Thank you to the Brazos Valley Food Bank for having us and the community out today for the 30th Annual Feast of Caring. The Feast of Caring is a buffet style, come-and-go luncheon featuring a free meal while encouraging donations to the Brazos Valley Food Bank to fight hunger in our community. This modest event symbolizes a uniting principle - no child, individual, family or senior should ever go hungry. We are honored to sponsor this event and enjoyed inviting Fries Financial Services clients to join us at a special table and catch up. Fries Financial Services is hiring an Advisor’s Assistant for full or part-time hours . The work environment is friendly and COVID safe. Our new team member would help the advisors with paperwork to open investment accounts and track rollovers. No experience is required as we will provide all the training. Flexible hours would allow for students or busy parents to excel in this position. This job could be a stepping stone to securing licenses and becoming a Financial Advisor and we would provide support and training for advancement. Clean background required and a willingness to follow COVID safe protocols.
