Volcano Honey: Wild Sunflower Blossom is another one of a kind honey Ceimaya has to offer! This honey comes directly from the slopes of the beautiful volcanoes in central Mexico, Popocatepetl & Iztaccihuatl. This nectar derives from two wild flowers: Acahual and Casahuate which are yellow and white respectively. As a result, the predominant nectar will determine the final color of this honey, which can vary from white to amber.

This honey naturally crystallizes into a creamy buttery consistency.... yum!

Our Mayan Honey: Tsitsilché Blossom is one of a kind, this type of honey was once used by the Mayans to heal cataracts and originates in the Calakmul biosphere jungle. It comes from the Tsitsilché tree (Gymnopodium floribundum) which gives it a strong floral smell. The first taste impression is sweet which then evolves into an intense taste.
Fun fact, This honey is one of the main exports from the Yucatán peninsula to Europe.

The Mesquite Honey originates in the Mexican high plateau deserts. It comes, as it names states, from the Mesquite tree (Prosopis laevigata) yellow flower.
