A few months ago, a conversation in our office turned into something much bigger than any of us expected.

Fernie came in carrying heavy news. His family had just lost someone they deeply loved to Alzheimer’s. As he shared the story of Sam and the heart behind the campaign, it hit home.

My grandmother lived with Alzheimer’s, and watching someone who once knew you so well slowly lose their memories is something I will never forget. Seeing the Bernal family including Nikki Bigley Ruiz, and everyone else that is taged in this post, turn their love for Sam into a movement to spread awareness inspired me to do something meaningful — to honor my grandmother’s memory and stand with every family facing this disease.

So our team at Siegert One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning launched a community drawing for a full HVAC system, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association

In November we attended alongside so many families honoring their loved ones, sharing stories, and supporting the fight for a cure.

During the event, we held the drawing, and our good customer Danny Hancock’s name was selected. We had the honor of installing an 4-ton heat pump brand system with a 10-year parts and labor warranty and a UV light for indoor air quality in his home.

This experience reminded us that this was about much more than a system giveaway.

It was awareness.It was unity.It was love.
