She only mentioned it once.

Months before the wedding, while we were choosing rentals together, she paused on the mason jars and said she wanted one at every place setting because “they’re just so him.”

It was such a simple comment, but the way she said it told me everything.

Then, just a few hours before she was supposed to walk down the aisle, we discovered the 350 mason jars had accidentally been left off the rental order.

We could have substituted a different glass.

Most people probably wouldn’t have noticed.

But I would have.

Because I remembered that conversation from months before.

So while she was spending the morning getting ready to marry her best friend, we were tracking down 350 mason jars, clearing store shelves, and making sure every place setting looked exactly how she had envisioned.

She never knew there had been a problem.

And that’s exactly how it should be.

Wedding coordination isn’t just about timelines, logistics, and vendor management. It’s about listening closely enough to remember the little things—the passing comments, the tiny details, the moments that might seem insignificant to someone else but mean something to your couple.

Because when your wedding day arrives, your only job should be marrying your best friend.

That’s all the time we had before this dress was no longer just a beautiful gown hanging quietly by the window. It became the dress she walked toward forever in.

Being trusted with this wedding just three days before “I do” was an honor we won’t soon forget. Watching her step into this dress with peace instead of panic is exactly why we do what we do.

Some weekends are busy. This one is full of celebrating. ✨

Over the next few days, we’ll be helping bring a “Born 2 Ball” birthday party to life, celebrating the Fourth of July with family and friends, and coordinating a beautiful wedding to wrap up the weekend.

Looking at this photo reminds me why I love what I do. Every event looks a little different, but the heart behind each one is the same. It’s about celebrating life’s biggest moments with the people who matter most.

Whether I’m fluffing a dress, carrying a wedding cake, setting tables, or making sure every last detail falls into place, it’s a privilege to be part of these memories.
