The CERT program also has an applicability to college campus' through the Campus CERT program which was created by FEMA for college campus' across the nation. Texas A&M Campus Community Emergency Response Team is a program available to any in the Bryan / College Station area who attend Texas A&M University.

There is a seat at the CERT table for anyone with the motivation to serve their community. Support positions are available on teams to assist in team disaster response operations. Some of the support roles can include team treasurer, scribe/report writer, team liaison, and others. CERTs in the Brazos Valley region are always available to discuss a possible future role on their team. Are you interested in joining a team and supporting CERT operations?

Are you interested in learning how to better prepare you and your family for a large disaster? CERT gives you the necessary training for natural disaster preparedness. There will be a CERT Basic Course being conducted in the Brazos Valley region in late January - early February (Dates TBD).
