Congratulations to Marcus Brewer, recipient of the 2026 TTI G. Sadler Bridges Senior Researcher Award.

The G. Sadler Bridges Senior Researcher Award was established to honor the 35-year career of Sadler Bridges, whose vision and leadership helped shape TTI’s growth and impact. Over the course of his distinguished career, Bridges served as both TTI’s deputy director and acting director, roles in which he championed innovation and collaboration across federal, state and local transportation initiatives. The intent of the Bridges Award is to recognize and reward excellence in research by senior TTI professionals. Bridges exemplified the values of creativity, commitment and collaboration, and this award honors individuals whose research achievements reflect that same spirit and whose work has made a lasting impact on the transportation field.

Congratulations to Luke Warren, a student technician with TTI’s Roadside Safety program, and Tanner Poage, a student assistant with Traffic Control Devices program, recipients of the 2026 Outstanding Student Awards.

The Outstanding Student Awards were established to recognize the meaningful contributions of student employees who play a vital role in advancing TTI's mission. Through research and high-impact learning experiences, undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students support innovation and discovery across a wide range of transportation research.
