Dear NELA, Thank you. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to start my career.

As a Colorado native, I had never lived anywhere else before moving here. I had no idea what to expect, but I have loved every minute. Louisiana is truly a beautiful place with rich culture, amazing hospitality, and stellar food. I was a vegetarian for 10 years before moving here…I am no longer a vegetarian.

My experiences here such as flying in WW2 planes, boating on the bayou, and my first ever Mardi Gras have become core memories that I will forever cherish.

My life is now leading me to Texas where I will be the weekend anchor and MMJ at KBTX in Bryan, Texas. Although I’m excited to keep growing, I’m happy to have some roots here in Louisiana.
