Western performance horses and English sport horses follow different development timelines because they're bred for different jobs. Neither approach is right or wrong. The key is giving each horse the foundation that best prepares it for the career ahead.
Our Young Sport Horse Foundation Program is designed specifically for English sport horses. We introduce them to work while they're mentally ready to learn, then encourage time to mature before returning for the next phase of training.
The result is a confident young horse that understands the basics, trusts its rider, and is ready to continue toward a future in eventing, dressage, hunters, or jumpers.
At Fiddler's Green, we combine a lifelong background in English riding with practical horsemanship to develop horses that are confident both inside and outside the arena.

One of the perks of boarding at Fiddler's Green is you actually have somewhere to use your horse.
We rope every Tuesday and Thursday night, giving our boarders regular access to cattle and a crew to practice with.
Bring your horse. Work on your swing. Track a few. Miss a few. Catch a few. Get better.
No hauling somewhere every week. No trying to find cattle. Just saddle up and head to the arena.
Because boarding should be more than a place to keep your horse. It should be a place to enjoy them.
