Blinn College EMS Program

We survived the Texas heat! Our EMS summer cookout was a blast with beach volleyball, football, and we got to listen to Dr. Buzzard talk about hemorrhagic shock and trauma assessment.

Since this is such a beautiful Texas morning, we moved EMT lab outside! Our outdoor space even has a beach volleyball court and hammocks for the students!

Our paramedic students are currently learning about airway management. Who better to teach ventilator management than our guest lecturer, CJ of the Cy-Fair FD. PIP, Pplat, Vt, Ve, IBW, Pressure control vs volume control ventilation......our students learned some of the important terminology and how to correctly manage a patient on a ventilator. Thanks CJ!
