Off Road Dump Truck Driver/ Laborer Needed

Responsibilities include:

-Maintaining Equipment:

-pressure washing

-greasing

-using air compressor and leaf blower to blow out radiators and air filters

-assisting mechanic with repairs as needed

-fueling trucks

-other tasks as assigned

•Field Work:
- driving off road dump truck

-bush hog mowing

-spraying

-plowing

-w**d whacking with gas powered equipment

-hand pruning with shears

-installing irrigation, pvc work

-other tractor work

-misc other tasks as assigned

• Shop work:

-empty trash cans

-sweep/blow off floor

-wash/degrease/squeegee floors

-assist mechanic with truck repairs/maintenance

-other tasks as assigned

Requirements of this position:
-2 years minimum experience as equipment operator
- dependable transportation
- properly maintain fill dirt pit
-complete clearing, grading, loading assignments with minimal supervision
-provide supervision to laborers working with chain saws
-must be able to work in fast paced operation (sometimes emergent tasks pop up)
-must be team player
-must have a smart phone
-preference given to applicants with CDL license​
- must be willing to drive offroad dump truck and complete other task when needed

Responsibilities include:
​Equipment operation will include-
-daily maintenance on excavator, dozer, tracked loader (Greasing, fueling, checking all fluids, cleaning tracks and cab, & tightening tracks as needed)
​​- safely and efficiently clearing land and loading dump trailers
​​- safely and efficiently loading dump trucks at fill dirt pit
- communicating with truck drivers and keeping excavator load sheet accurate and turned in daily
- communicating with mechanics regarding equipment repairs and service.
-Grading with tracked loader and dozer
-Shaping slopes with dozer/tracked loader
-setting elevations and control points with measuring tape and laser level

​Maintaining Fleet of 13 dump trucks, 2 road road tractors, and misc heavy equipment-
​​-must be able to troubleshoot and repair tandem dump truck from bumper to tailgate
​​- electrical system repairs including lights, tarp motor, ignition, alternator and battery testing
​​- tires and brakes, wheel seals, pinion seals, all parts of drive train
- time management; efficiently balance time between ordering parts, managing labor, and performing repairs
-pto pump repair/ replacement, diagnosing and repairing air leaks
-tracking fleet service intervals
-keeping parts room organized and anticipating parts that need to be replaced or stocked
-communication with drivers to ensure trucks are available and properly serviced at all times
