On April 22nd, Officer Basic Training Session 713 walked the halls of building 912, locked in, and to the stage where they were pinned with their new badge, officially becoming U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.

Congratulations 713 on your work and dedication thus far. We are proud to send you out to the field, prepared and ready, to join the agency that protects America’s air, land, and sea.

A special thank you goes out to the session’s mentor, Assistant Director of the Field Analysis and Intelligence Unit for the Buffalo Field Office, Thomas Rusert, whose dedication to the class was reflected in their successes. Thank you, sir, for your time and involvement.
