Old Man Willie is here to remind you to stop in our General Store after you’re done visiting with the pigs! Our General Store is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-2:30pm.
We’ve worked hard to stock it with unique items that you won’t find just anywhere. Whether you’re already living a plant-based lifestyle, you’re simply curious, or you’re shopping for a gift, there’s something for everyone.
You’ll find:
• Vegan jerky and salami
• Rebel Cheese
• Specialty sodas
• Small-batch simple syrups
• Gourmet pickles and jams
• Candied nuts
• Vegan cookies
• And a variety of other vegan eats and treats!
We also carry a wonderful selection of handcrafted, handmade, and thrifted items making the General Store the perfect place to browse after spending time with the animals.
One of the products I’m most excited to offer is Rebel Cheese. Rebel Cheese is…
⭐️ Veteran owned
⭐️ Woman owned
⭐️ Cholesterol free
⭐️ Preservative free
⭐️ Ethically sourced
⭐️ Vegan
⭐️ Crafted with a handful of clean ingredients
This is our second year carrying Rebel Cheese, and I couldn’t be happier to make these incredible artisan cheeses available right here at the sanctuary.
People often ask why we put such an emphasis on offering vegan food products at a farm animal sanctuary. The answer is simple.
Most of the animals who call Oinking Acres home have been saved from the confines of animal agriculture. They were once viewed as food, a product, or a number on an ear tag.
When visitors meet Rogue, Theo, Trixie, and so many of our other residents, they get to know them as individuals with unique personalities, emotions, friendships, and stories. We hope those connections inspire people to see all farm animals a little differently.
For many people, cheese is the hardest thing to give up. It certainly was for us before we transitioned to a fully plant-based lifestyle. We know firsthand how difficult that change can feel, which is exactly why we want to make delicious alternatives readily available.
Our goal is simple- to make compassionate choices easier, more accessible, and incredibly delicious. If someone leaves the sanctuary with a new favorite vegan cheese, jerky, or treat, and that helps them replace even one animal product, that’s a win for the animals.
Every purchase from our General Store helps support the residents who call Oinking Acres home. You’re not just taking home something delicious—you are directly helping provide food, veterinary care, shelter, and a safe place for animals who needed a second chance.
So next time you visit the sanctuary, be sure to stop by the General Store before you head home. You just might discover your new favorite snack, find the perfect gift, or take the first step toward a more compassionate plate.
We can’t wait to welcome you this weekend. ❤️🐷

Our 9th Brownsburg Parade is in the books! We’re off to the Freedom Fest at Pittsboro. We’ve got a table set up selling merch. Stop by and support the pigs this 4th of July! 🇺🇸 💫
** if you’re squeamish or don’t like feet then you might want to skip the first 15-20 seconds 😂😣***
It was another full day at Evermore. First cut of hay is complete and we’re making great progress on our electric project thanks to Chris!
