Aircraft picture of the day: These are the Blackbirds. They were all invented by Kelly Johnson of Lockheed's Skunk Works. All four of these aircraft were capable of traveling at a sustained rate of Mach 3+, or 3 times the speed of sound. The A-12 Oxcart is the only Blackbird that has one cockpit; all other versions have two cockpits. The A-12 only held cameras and was owned by the CIA.The YF-12a was a high speed interceptor w/ air-to-air 47 Falcon (GAR-9) missiles. The MD-21 was built to launch drones, but it costs the lives of a blackbird crew which deeply bothered Kelly causing him to scrap it
The Blackbird that flew the longest was the SR-71. It featured a variety of cameras and sensors that were constantly being updated, along with the latest electronic countermeasures. The SR-71 flew from 1966 to 1990. She is still the fastest-manned aircraft in the world.

Steak pic of the day: the incredibly versatile Tri-Tip! The Tri-Tip comes from the "loin butt", and is a triangle piece of beef that gained prominence in California. This cut can be roasted, seared, smoked, grilled, and is prepared using a variety of spices and rubs.
