The borough meant as much to Nas, as he meant to his people. This mural is a homage to his Queensbridge roots and his all time great album Illmatic. Nothing equivalent to New York state of mind.

Looking Back
To the days where we roamed the streets carefree and not worry about high density areas, which is essentially all of New York City, but particularly landmarks such as the Oculus. Keeping our social distance for now so we can go back out and stop to smell the roses again.

Purple and Gold
More than just an athlete, a global icon who has impacted the game forever. Today, the Empire State Building shines gold and purple dedicated for the all time great Laker who can never be replaced. Rest in peace Black Mamba.

Happy Holidays
