you’re gonna want to save this one! 🌀 perfectionism is the enemy of progress and so often it keeps me from being creative. i refuse to let it steal this from me!!!! and yet i’ll find myself sitting on the couch, spiraling out, knowing that journaling will help me regulate my emotions but feeling unable to move.
this guide is for me as much as it’s for you 🫂 swipe for simple tricks to getting started on (or picking up existing) my junk journal, scrapbook and collage art projects!!! save this for when you are feeling stuck 🫶🏻
tl;dr: give yourself a challenge! set a theme! pick a color way! limit the supplies you have access to! give yourself permission to make something ugly! not everything is aesthetic! transmute your emotions onto the page! you can do it!
