✨ UNSPEAKABLE JOY — INSTALLMENT #2 ✨

Tomorrow we’re back at 3 Dollar Bill for the second installment of Unspeakable Joy — and it’s about to be even better than the first.

This reel is about one of my personal house anthems:
Knight Breed – “Your Love Is Taking Me Over.”

What a lot of people don’t know is that this track actually traces back to Syreeta’s 1981 song “Can’t Shake Your Love.”
A rare remix was later rediscovered and restored by Danny Krivit, after being found on a scratched acetate believed to have come from Larry Levan’s collection.

That lost mix traveled through DJs, inspired Knight Breed’s version, and eventually landed on a DJ Mark Anthony Circuit Party compilation in the ’90s — right at a time when discovering new music meant digging through CD racks, not scrolling an app.
That’s how a soul record became a classic house anthem.

Tomorrow night, is bringing that same anthem energy back to the dancefloor — spinning classic NYC house anthems from 4–10 PM.
