I propose a mosquito detente. The reason mosquito bites itch is because they release anti-coagulants and inflammatory agents into the bite location to increase blood flow so they can get more blood before they're swatted away. Instead I propose that they not release these chemicals into the bloodstream so that the bites don't itch, and in return we promise to allow them some amount of feeding per day to satisfy their blood needs. Deal?
