We are excited to announce that we are producing a documentary honoring the extraordinary life and legacy of Hattie Carthan, a beloved community activist and environmental pioneer who dedicated her life to improving the quality of life in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
Hattie Carthan's tireless efforts transformed the neighborhood, from planting trees and creating green spaces to advocating for healthy food access and building community gardens. Her vision and dedication continue to inspire us today.
We are seeking individuals who:
Knew Hattie Carthan. Were you a neighbor, friend, fellow activist, or member of her community?
