Gosh, it was probably 10 years ago when Chef helped me make batches of Jojo’s Sriracha in Brooklyn. When he showed up, he shared his beautifully dark, smoky, crunchy, peanut XILLI (chili) oil. It was, and continues to be, one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.
