Big news for the circus community! 🎪 For the first time, the U.S. House Appropriations Committee has officially recognized circus arts as a distinct component of the nation’s performing arts workforce—an important step toward greater recognition and support for circus artists and organizations nationwide.

This milestone helps strengthen the mission of Bindlestiff Family Cirkus by supporting broader awareness, advocacy, and access to circus arts in our communities.
