Camp Workroom Social Wardrobe Week is a 5-day/4-night sewing retreat where campers work side-by-side in small groups, creating a warm and collaborative environment that encourages campers to build connections with each other. Campers work on their own projects at their own pace and at different stages of construction. Each small group also works with a dedicated sewing instructor who is matched with campers based on their desired outcomes and goals.
Patchwork and Quilting for Garment Sewing is a comprehensive virtual course taught in 2 sections. Students can enroll in the full course, or in the sections individually.
In Section 2: Sewing a Garment from Quilted Textiles, you’ll learn how to…
🔴 Cut and prepare your quilted textiles for garment construction.
🟡 Manage the bulk of quilted fabrics, and sew elements including darts, welt pockets, patch pockets, sleeves, and collars.
🟢 Finish your garment beautifully with custom binding and closures.
Our official class project (the project we'll use for instruction and demonstrations) is the Tamarack Jacket by (Bust 32–58”; Bust 81.2–147.3 cm).
