The next 3D Design and Print Workshop for kids is scheduled for Sunday, June 12 from 12pm-3pm.
Students will become familiar with Autodesk 123D design software and work closely with engineering instructors to create their own 3D object. We will then print each object for students to pick up later in the week and keep as a memento of their hard work.
3D printing is a process for making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many successive thin layers of a material. Futurologists believe that 3D printing is the beginning of a third industrial revolution.
