Hi! My name is Yasmenda McCoy. My friends call me Yasmen. Born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I am the owner brains and phalanges behind Designs by Yasmen. I make all different styles of crochet earrings using indie-dyed yarn and thread. One of my special clients calls my earrings Emotional support. Others say they are true conversation starters. Either way, I make them with love. I'm just out there trying to make the world smile one stitch at a time. I'm so honored to be a part of the Wool and Folk Festival. Bring on the smiles.

Do you know what today is..

Yep you guessed it. It's Showcase Sunday and today for your enjoyment is my classic Venti crochet with the beautiful yarn from Shawneal Sullivan]]. In the colorway name Bodacious Beautii. Not only is she a Yarn Dyer she is a pattern tester and crochet magician. 😁

I asked Shawneal How is she inspired to put her colors together. She answered with

" lately I've gotten into doing reels on ig. I take the pictures right there at my kitchen door and I'll think of one of my favorites songs and put it on there. I like to think that I'll be different in this community. I have some ideas that I haven't seen anyone do yet, which excites me."

Well the way this blue and purple is married together I'm excited as well.
