Participating in the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) has been the opportunity to validate building electrification as a solution to emissions reduction.
“The future of the human race is in our hands,” Donnel Baird said. “We have all of the hardware and software capability that we need to dramatically reduce emissions.”

Meet Kymsha Henry. She’s one of our amazing Career Readiness Directors who make up the dedicated team that delivers weekly for our Civilian Climate Corps members.
Kymsha provides many wraparound services our program offers participants — including resume workshops, workplace etiquette, business communication and interview preparation, to name a few — and she loves watching the transformations and accomplishments during every training cohort. As the temperature drops, so can indoor heat retention as older buildings leak air through cracks and crevices caused by age. Last year, BlocPower used drones to take thermal images of rooftops in Ithaca, NY to detect buildings most in need of energy efficiency retrofits.
