I am excited to announce my upcoming single release “Cosas Buenas” out May 17th, 2024!!

This single uplifts my journey of rediscovery, and my ability to channel grief into creativity. While taking a pause from my music career to tend to upheaval in my personal life after heartbreak, and my mother simultaneously becoming ill and passing away, I returned to Venezuela - both in the physical sense to the country and to the Venezuelan community in the diaspora - and immersed myself in traditional rhythms and my own family’s legacy in traditional Venezuelan sounds.

As I open a new chapter, I call in an era of healing and regeneration, and allowing that life can be good. Merging Afro-Veneuzelan percussion in the tambor de Caraballeda rhythm with underground club sounds, including raptor house, amapiano-inspired synths, and techno kicks, with lyrics that affirm the constant rhythm of renewal, and the resilience of the human spirit.

The single is accompanied with a music video, a deconstructed meeting point between both Raptor House and Afro-Venezuelan tambor dancing with Caracas as the backdrop.
