I don't know how it could've possibly happened, but I missed an important anniversary four days ago. One of my favorite bands to come out of that '90's alternative ether, Local H, celebrated 20 years since the release of their debut album, "Ham Fi**ed" on January 24th!

The band left their all and then some on their first offering and it more than shows. This is probably their most grunge sounding album, following the trend started by the then popular "Seattle Sound" machine, but that in no way diminishes how f**king great" Ham Fi**ed" was/is. Even after 20 years, and countless listens, the album still maintains that raw edge that it had when I first heard it back in 1995.
