to AS ONE, which just wrapped up an incredible production at Semperoper Dresden.

AOP's history-making chamber opera about a transgender person’s experiences is one of the most produced contemporary operas with productions across the U.S., Europe, Canada, South America, and Australia.

Created by Laura Kaminsky, Mark Campbell and Kimberly Reed, AS ONE first premiered at BAM in 2014.

to WASTE (composer Commodore Primous, librettist Danielle Keiko Eyer) from the 2026 AOP-NYU/Tisch Opera Lab: THE TRANSIT OPERAS, 12 short operas inspired and dedicated to the New York Transit Museum in celebration of their 50th anniversary.

Except featuring singer Robert Mack & Ilene Pabon (offscreen). Music director/pianist Chérie Roe, stage director Martavius Parrish, costume design Christine DiJospeh & Alex Driessen, set design Woori Kim, lighting Sooji Kim. Stage manager Chris Moeggenberg, assistant stage manager Ellie Miller.

WASTE takes place in the near future on a R110B prototype new technology passenger car manufactured by Bombardier Transportation, where a man (Mack) waits impatiently on a stalled, delayed train.
