Do you know what is the difference between deadstock and second-hand?Deadstock is never used before and stored for a long time. Second-hand is owned and worn by someone. Even deadsrock has never worn and might have stains or discoloration because of the long-term storage. We certainly check it out carefully before we apply and make it wash by hands one by one.It takes time until it becomes a product but we're particular about using deadstock Kimono fabric since we have known there're tons of deadstock Kimono fabrics in Japan🇯🇵
デッドストックと古着の違いって何ですか？
と聞かれることがあります。

簡単に説明すると、デッドストックは過剰在庫、
流行が過ぎ売れなかった商品で未使用のまま
長期保存されているもの。

古着は誰かが所有し、着用したことがあるもの。
つまり、デッドストックは長期保管されていただけで
誰にも着用、使用された事がない商品なのです。
ですが、デッドストックの着物地を使用する前に
たくさんの工程があります。

長期保管による、色褪せ、色やけ、樟脳の匂い、
カビなどが発生していないか確認、手作業で
洗い必要に応じて複数行います。
