Super excited to be making my The Avalon Lounge debut on Feb 16th!!

When moving to upstate New York almost 3 years ago, I never expected spaces like this one to exist up here. We’re very lucky to have such a wonderful venue in our quiet corner of the Hudson valley.

It’s free entry & I’ll be warming up in the upstairs lounge from 9-11pm then I’ll move downstairs to the main room from 11pm to close 🤙🏻

'Early Color' my 4th album as Aspetuck is out today 🤗🤗

I'm feeling extra proud of the years of work it has taken to get here & extra proud of Gilles Wasserman, Zach Huenink & I for the launch of our new label Never Late. Thank you guys for suggesting the album as the first release on the label, it's a big honor.

This album is the continuation of a story I had begun to tell with my previous album 'Inanimate Distraction Object'. It's a collection of moments & memories while observing my now 2 year old daughter begin to make sense of the world around her. A world that starts out blurry & unfamiliar then all of the sudden those splotches of early color start to make their way to the forefront of a child’s consciousness. Most of the music was made between the end of summer 2022 & beginning of winter 2023, a time when she was learning how to talk & really just growing into her personality in so many ways. It's also a time of the year when I'm the most reflective, during the changing of the seasons. It’s my attempt to capture the feeling of time going by too fast as you're watching a baby turn into a toddler in the blink of an eye, as leaves fall off the trees & summer turns to winter.
