All smiles and almost heaven to see the same smiles

Born and raised in the country, it was an exciting invitation to speak to the national convention of ICIC (Initiative for a Competitive Inner City), founded by the famed father of modern business strategy, Harvard professor, Dr. Michael E. Porter.

Porter had the Fortune 500 listing to his every word while he listened to urban businesses who have already demonstrated a level of entrepreneurial success and what they needed to go to the next level and change lives and generations, like Alvin, an ICIC alumni and gold medalist winner at the Atlanta Olympics 1996.

ICIC convention pulled in over 500 enthusiastic attendees from across the country, who moved me with their positive energy and potential.

I’ve talked with their leadership about bringing ICIC convention to the roots in rural America, and I will take our thinktank to Detroit. We actually held a thinktank right after my ICIC speech.

It was held at the Porsche Experience with 200 of the top entrepreneurs across the country.

I want all of us in the same room, a goal for 2027.

The mission of Entrepreneurs is to make a positive difference, and positivity beamed in both rooms.

Smiles were as wide as a country mile with a spirit as free as kool and the Gang.
