I lost my dad over a 10 year ago when he took his own life. His mind was no longer working properly, and as physicist he did not know how to live while not being able to think creatively. We had a difficult relationship, there was a physical and emotional abuse when I was a child. However, not only I used his death to get on a path to strength, forgiveness, love - I also made a commitment to understand how to recognize, predict and heal su***de. I became an expert on su***de prevention and, in cases when tragedy happened, what needs to be done to heal both the family and the soul of the person who took his life. Since his death I have helped so many suicidal people to stay alive by recognizing and preventing su***de.
Still today has brought up a some mixed and some complicated emotions. .

On this Father’s day, I am examining what still remains unhealed between me and him, and focus on remembering times when he had stepped up to be caring father. I got in touch with a memory of how he was taking care of me when I had chronic tonsillitis, and how he would not let doctors perform a tonsillectomy. As a physicist he believed that all the organs in a body had an important function and were not disposable. I outgrew my tonsillitis, very grateful now to him for that decision. Sending gratitude to my father. Sending strength, love and light to all those who may have lost their fathers or are struggling with their relationship. .

Please tag and share with those you love who may need help around su***de, anxiety and depression, either for themselves or their loved ones.
And please follow and leave comments and questions. I am happy to personally share what I know ***deprevention

I was asked today how I found my passion for finding solutions to heal others with mental illness?
I would say there are two factors. First and for most it Is my passion to solve problems that are considered to be unsolvable. When someone says “this cannot be done” my mind springs into action. Most of my life I am like a salmon swimming upstream prevailing conventional believes. My other source of inspiration has been the pioneering psychiatris Stanislav Grof. According to him the non ordinary states of reality are real. Therefore those diagnosed with “various “mental illnesses” are not “ crazy”. Inspired by his views, in the course of past 30 years I have successfully navigated thousands of sufferers though and out of these nonordinary states of consiousness. With the current epidemics of One out of Four people diagnosed with some form of mental illness I invite you to get personally inspired by the visionary Stanislav Grof
