Brookline for Racial Justice and Equity

BRJE, the Brookline Asian American Family Network, and the Brookline Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations are partnering to close out AANHPI Heritage Month with a free Mahjong workshop for the Brookline community!

Facilitator Rob Chin was born and raised on the South Shore and has spent years working in Boston's Chinatown nonprofit space, building community through arts and culture. He's on a mission to share the fun and joy of Hong Kong-style Mahjong.

This beginner-friendly workshop covers the basics of Hong Kong-style Mahjong. No experience needed. Come hang out, meet neighbors, and play some Mahjong!

BRJE’s Rising Together Spring Mixer is happening Friday, May 1 from 6–9 PM at the Brookline Teen Center.

Come for the empanadas, drinks, live DJ, and photo booth and stay for the community. It’s a night to connect, celebrate, and be together as we look ahead to another year of racial justice work in Brookline.
