Ib and Flow

Being guarded keeps us from truly feeling joy, because it keeps us both in a state of fear and in a state of imprisonment. The armor that keeps us protected, also weighs us down and makes us tired and clumsy. The walls that keep the enemy out, also keep out the friend and festival, and keep us locked away inside.
And so, joy can only really be really experienced in a place of vulnerability.
