Board Spotlight Wendy Iott
Some teachers teach lessons. Some teachers create memories. The kind students talk about years later. The projects they still remember. The laughs they still tell stories about. The moments that make school feel like more than a place you go every day.

For so many Rhoadies, Wendy Iott is one of those teachers. As our 3rd Grade Teacher Advocate, Wendy brings creativity, joy and enthusiasm to both her classroom and our PTA board. She understands that learning sticks best when students are excited to be there.

Third grade is a big year. It's often the year students begin seeing themselves differently, not just as kids who go to school, but as learners, leaders and problem-solvers. Wendy helps make that transition fun.

She knows that confidence can be built through a science experiment, a class project, a good book, a shared laugh or a challenge that seemed impossible until a student realized they could do it.

The magic isn't in any one lesson. It's in the environment she creates. A classroom filled with curiosity. Encouragement. Creativity. And plenty of reasons to love learning. Through her work as a teacher and advocate, Wendy helps make Rhoades a place where students don't just learn, they make memories they'll carry with them long after they've left her classroom.
