Health Imperatives

We are grateful to Community Foundation for Nantucket for continuing to invest in healthier futures across the island.

Through a $75,000 grant via , Health Imperatives will continue providing quality sexual and reproductive healthcare and nutrition assistance to low income and vulnerable individuals, and families throughout the Nantucket community.

This investment helps ensure individuals and families have the resources, support, and services they need – when and where they need them most.

This June and July, Massachusetts is expecting an estimated 2 million visitors for the FIFA World Cup games.

With the increase of tourists from all over the world, the risk of human trafficking activity increases. The Healey-Driscoll administration recently awarded Health Imperatives a FIFA World Cup Human Trafficking Supplemental Resources Grant. These funds will allow us to provide ongoing support for survivors of human trafficking as we expect to see additional cases.
